Called to get a return/refund. The customer service number is a number for conference calls.
When I finally spoke to a person, her voice was almost not understandable. She said she would send me a link. It never came. Called back (I had to call 4 times to have the call go to customer service).
Again, no link.
Called again today, same stuff. I would rate them as 0 if I could.

I bought a Keurig K-Express Essentials coffee maker last August. It worked perfectly from August 2024 until today (March 3, 2025) ...
when I was STUPID ENOUGH to follow the directions printed on the inner label of the [expensive] descaling solution I had intentionally and meticulously bought to clean it.
After following their generalized instructions, the device STOPPED WORKING.
I called Keurig and was promptly told, "Oh, those aren't the complete instructions. You also have to do the following, yaddah yaddah yaddah. (This included manipulating a couple of buttons in a way I hadn't and using a completely different method than I'd used).
Since I'd owned several other Keurig coffee makers before (but used vinegar to descale them), I felt no particular compunction to save the receipt for this one.
What ANGERS me is that the device was working until I followed Keurig's OWN INSTRUCTIONS to clean it, and managed to break it doing so. So I decided against their offer of 25% off another Keurig; I decided against hassling with the bank to wade back through several months of transactions to pinpoint the $80.00 or so I'd dropped for the thing at WalMart; I decided against ever owning another Keurig as long as I live.
HOW DIFFICULT would it be for a manufacturer to include a caveat in its accessory instructions to the effect that "THESE INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD BE FOLLOWED AS A GENERAL GUIDE; FOR PRECISE INSTRUCTIONS SEE YOUR OWNERS MANUAL" ...
instead of MISLEADING a consumer by supplying INCOMPLETE instructions and then informing him of that when he calls their customer support AFTER the unit is already broken?
I challenge ANYONE reading this to find where it mentions ANYTHING about using 8 ounces of water per cleaning interval or pressing the 8 ounce and 10 ounce buttons simultaneously.
Please keep in mind that MY model would be considered a "Keurig Brewer with a Water Reservoir".
My advice: these guys are like SONY; they have so many different models -- apparently with different cleaning modalities -- they can't keep up with themselves. Go elsewhere.

I am very disappointed with my K-Slim Single Serve Coffee Maker! This is the SECOND one l've owned.
The first one stopped working after two weeks.
I sent all the documentation requested after contacting Customer Service for a refund. I received an email (approximately two weeks later) to call Customer Service. I called and was told they could not send me the exact coffee maker, as they no longer made this model. I was told they would send me a replacement, a unit that was less expensive (my unit made hot and cold beverages, the replacement only made hot coffee).
I ALSO could not order the color I originally had. My options were Red, Bright Blue, Green, Light Blue, and White. I was given the option of less desirable colors, that would not sell as well as your standard colors (overstocked colors). To add insult to injury, IT stopped working after just a few cups of coffee!!
Frankly, l've never seen such a debacle before!
I've had Mr Coffee coffee makers for the last fifty years, with reliable, dependable service! I have wanted a Kureg machine for a long time. I wanted the convenience of this machine, after years of putting water in a carafe each night to have coffee in the I looked forward to the convenience of this machine, after years of making our coffee each night for the following day!
After having this experience with Kureg, l'd like to request a full refund of $79.99, as well as a refund for coffee pods purchased at Sams for $42.99. Between the two coffee makers, I wasted a whole box of pods when the machine collapsed the pods and dispersed coffee grounds all in my cup!
What are the odds l'd actually get a machine that WORKS?!
My time is worth more than going through this aggravation again. I look forward to receiving a refund of $122.98!

Verified ReviewerTemperamental machine, descaled it with vinegar water and it stopped working for six hours. I didn't submerge it or get components wet, just filled the reservoir with cleaning solution.
The Keurig coffee maker has sensitive buttons. They flash for no reason and stop responding.
I pull the plug and let it sit for hours to reset. This is annoying, especially when I want coffee. Once this coffee maker quits, I'm buying some other brand.
I've been patient and stayed true to this brand for too long. Goodbye, Keurig.

I received a damaged bag of ground coffee. I called to let them know expecting a credit on my next auto-ship.
I was on the phone for 20 min. When the rep asked for the make and model of my brewer, I asked whyits irrelevant. She couldnt tell me why. I said its just a $10 bag of coffee and this 20 min call and info about my brewer is too much.
I hung up and sent an email with pictures stating I am going to cancel and use another company if they cant make I right.
They replied back stating they can confirm my auto-ship was canceled. WOW!!

I purchased the K-Duo coffee maker from Amazon and the universal coffee filter to use with the machine from Keurig.com. The coffee maker made terrible coffee, tasted like dishwater.
I returned the machine to Amazon and called Keurig to initiate a return of the filter (which is the only way to initiate a return with Keurig). After speaking with the representative and providing all necessary details, I was told that the return needs to be escalated and reviewed which will take 3 business days.
3 BUSINESS DAYS to decide if I can return an item that 1) I did not use or even open 2) is a $20 item 3) that I have to pay return shipping for and 4) that is well within the 30 day return window. This is awful customer service and to be honest, with business practices like this, I am so glad the coffee maker sucked because now I don't have to ever deal with them again...except in 3 days when the "decision" on my return is rendered.

Let me try for 3rd time putting up honest review, 1st. Customer Service guy l woke up and he hung up on me 2bd customer service l ask to speak with customer service never received the phone call back I called I'm a single senior lady I purchased my maker a little about 12:13 months ago but I leave for the winter so I've used it half of that time and I only make four cups of coffee per day so not a lot of coffees been on this and it just totally quit customer service would not work with me at all offered me 25% off which is a joke because on their website is stage 20% off so that's like a slap in my face right there I don't have a lot of money so between the cost of these makers and customer service and the machine itself I will not buy another Gray I got my old coffee pot down that I've had for years it's a Black and Decker thermostat and I will be using that I have read all these reviews and pretty much all bad so customer service don't really care so I think a lot of people should get together and do a class action lawsuit seriously anyway I doubt if I get a call back I doubt if I get any of this resolved and that's my review today

Customer Service/ my maker quite
Marker bought 13 months ago used 8 mos. If that single person makes 4 cups per day.
I am writing this review for customers thinking of buying NOT customer service because if you read review news ALL bad and they don't care!! The first customer service l talked with hung up on me the second one l talked to p ask to Specht with a supervisor has anyone called me NO!!
They offered me 25% off haha on their website you can get 20% off I WONT BUY A KEURIG l plugged in my very old black n decker thermos machine works great thank God l saved it,so if you buy one of Keurig keep your old pot you will need it trust me and read reviews.
My question after reading reviews and Keurig don't care we should have a class action against this company period they are taking advantage of people l am a single senior l don't have tons of money to waste . Contact me

Years ago I bought my first Keurig and it was a quality product that lasted for years. Today they are worthless.
The quality is in severe decline and their improvements were to add a ring on the cups to identify what was being brewed. Ok I put the type that I bought into the machine, now I have to wait for the make to say brewing that type? If I want to make 2 out of it, I have to go through the process twice clearing the of used pod.
Next enhancement was connect to internet. This brings the consumer zero value.
However it enables the company now to get reports of what I am brewing and whether my brewer is being used and if it is plugged in.
Do we as consumers really need to supply access to companies on what we do in our homes?
Back to quality. There is a huge reduction in quality for when the unit has no water. Whether I have water or dont it gets stuck in saying add water. The last three machines I bought had the same flaw.
The customer support sometimes helps but only if it is in warranty period.
I bought a cuisinart I plugged it and I press the button and it just poured my tea. It has met all my requirements for a tea maker!
Keurig has lost a long term customer due to poor quality, ridiculous frustration waiting to get a cup of tea and snooping.

This has to be the worst company on the planet to do business with. I have an auto delivery set up that I changed to March 14, 2025 but they are still trying to charge my cared for the order.
I called them and asked why that would happen. There is also a Smart Auto Delivery that I was not aware of and that one I get no notice about and they just tried to charge me and ship the order. Fortunately the card on file was cancelled so the charge didn't go through.
If/when you place an order with them if you make a mistake and realize it as soon as you place the order they will never cancel an order. They say once an order is place it can never be cancelled.
What company does that? Keurig, that who, and I have never is my many, many years of doing online business have I ever seen that.
I am a website developer and I know how easy it is to have a process in place online to cancel an order that has been placed incorrectly.
I tried to send an email with the issue this morning and their support form does not work. This company is bad to the bone.

We have bought 5 Keurigs over the last 7 years. This last one is our last straw.
I've called Keurig twice now to be told to get over it and buy a new one again. I will not. I have spent over $1000 on these stupid machines. I still have every one of them in my basement.
They refuse to look at them or return them. They have refused to stand behind their product.
I will never buy anything Keurig again. Don't.

Keurig keeps saying they are sorry, but they will not honor the warranty. They did offer a 50% discount from their site.
The problem with that is, I purchased the coffee pot from Keurig on sale, which is the same amount as their site with the discount!! Not a winner as fas as I am concerned
It stopped working on 10/22/24 (as I was literally leaving for vacation) so I could not do anything right then. When I returned I contacted Keurig. They were very nice and said just send the original receipt and a copy of the S/N. I found the receipt (miricale) and notice that it was dated 9/24/23 - I was buying tons of stuff for the new house so I just didn't realize it was prior to the registering date.
After I submitted it, I received an email telling me it was past the warranty period! I explained that the pot was not actually unboxed until 10/22/23 - they didn't care. I even sent proof of my closing on 10/20/23. The 1st offered a 25% discount on a new one, then a 50% discount.
I purchased it at Costco on sale - which is why I bought it before I moved in - and that cost was the same as their 50% discount - nice of them, right? I have had several Keurig pots and I know they don't last very long. It was the fact that they were willing to honor the warranty when it was 10/15/23 - but not when the receipt was 09/24/23. That put me over the edge.
I am now looking into alternate coffee pots and I am finding them less expensive. I recommend that everyone look to the less expensive models - some are even 1/2 the cost of a Keurig!
- Easy to use and k-pods are available in many different flavors
- Do not hold up to daily use and their warranty is questionable
